At Second to Mom, we believe that caring for a family is not simply a task, but a vocation entrusted by God—one that reflects the hidden, faithful love at the heart of the Holy Family.

This work was born out of a lived experience of family life, and more deeply, out of a desire to live the Gospel in the ordinary—responding to Christ’s call to serve one another with love, humility, and generosity.

Based in Ave Maria and rooted in the Catholic faith, our mission is simple: to support families in every season of life with care, dignity, and compassion. We trust that even the smallest acts of service—done with love—can bring peace to a home and become a quiet witness to God’s presence.

Whether welcoming a new baby, tending to the needs of a busy household, supporting a university student living away from home, or accompanying senior adults in their daily lives, our hope is to serve as Christ taught us—faithfully, attentively, and with reverence for the dignity of every person.

This work is carried out alongside family and a small, trusted team, united by a shared desire to serve in a spirit of charity, following the example of Jesus, Mary, and St. Joseph.
